Counseling Services
Solivienne Counseling offers therapy services designed to help overcome challenges, cultivate a sense of mindfulness and well-being, and empower you to achieve your life goals. I believe people are innately driven to grow and overcome obstacles through the resolution of trauma and other adverse experiences. Sometimes, we need support navigating barriers to our progress.
I offer individual counseling and relationship/couples counseling, specializing in trauma and anxiety related to:
-
Acute Grief (Loss of a parent, child, close friend, or significant other that either is recent or feels recent.)
-
Complicated Grief (Lingering thoughts related to a significant lost that leave us feeling stuck and confused and unable to properly process the emotions.)
-
Bullying and Struggles with High Conflict Personalities (Power dynamics to bullying in family systems and workplaces)
-
Personal Growth/Reducing Overwhelm (Overcoming mental barriers to change behaviors related to people pleasing, procrastination, negative self-talk, and overfunctioning.)
-
Self-Worth/Interpersonal Communication (Building skills to forge better relationships by improving your ability to express your needs and process feelings with partners and other loved ones in order to feel "seen" rather than overlooked, taken for granted, or that you need to constantly shrink yourself to win approval or love.)
-
Imposter Syndrome (Self-limiting beliefs that keep us from realizing our full potential and build self-confidence.)
-
ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) (Understanding a recent ADHD diagnosis and a willingness to explore strategies to manage symptoms of ADHD that pose significant challenges to self-confidence, your ability to focus and reach goals, and manaage your time.)
I also offer career counseling services for adults facing or recovering from burnout, experiencing toxic or challenging workplaces, trying to determine the next steps in their career, attempting to re-enter the workforce after a prolonged absence, or considering a career transition.

I believe that while we cannot always control the story life has handed us, we possess the inherent power to choose how the next chapter is written. My practice is grounded in a humanistic, strengths-based perspective, meaning I view you not as a set of symptoms to be managed, but as a whole person with innate wisdom and the capacity for self-actualization. My goal is to help you move from a state of internal friction and "stuckness" toward a life defined by calm, self-confidence, and clarity.
